He is a natural full forward, exactly the type of player we have lacked for a number of years. We could do a lot worse, and if he is fully fit to play, I would 100% draft him if we can.

While he's never had a consistent go to establish himself, I don't see a lot of difference between McCartin and Mihocek in terms of physical characteristics and the way they play the game, and he's produced nothing like Checkers has to date.

A few of the only benefits of this whole thing is that this year Richmond might miss out on a flag by not playing for one and that I won't see Tom Boyd obliterate all opposition in the VAFA.

Pretty sure I heard his doctor (whether personal or club) on SEN say that where he is currently at he would be no more likely than any other player to cop a concussion "injury". Granted obviously if he was to cop one it is far more detrimental to him than another player not having historically had them.

That's what I mean. He is exactly the sort of player we need. And he is exactly the sort of player we generally get. You know, one we need but never gets anywhere near completing consecutive games.
