Parkinson's was a great show with some great in depth yet sometimes comedic interviews of some of the most famous people in the world. It is sad that he has finally hung up the boot, but my question is.

Will there be a show (in the next cpl year) that will step into the shoes of Parkinson?

itv now have the Dame Edna Treatment, which I think is good show, but it too much looking at the cheap laughs and no serious interviewing.

Is there a popular figure in Australia that could be seen as being a host almost as good as David was?

P.S. Does anyone know where I can download Parkinson's greatest hits (or the last 10seasons since 1998 when he re-started the show.)

There was talk a few years ago that the BBC were trying to get Andrew Denton to take over from Parkinson. Parkie thinks very highly of him, and when in Australia last was interviewed by Andrew for Enough Rope.

His name is Michael, not David. David Parkin says hello though.
