I think Callum may have made an All-VFL team as the ruckman when at Port Melbourne , it was either that or an All-Australian Amateur team .

Hope he goes well we were set to take Callum last year but took Josh Hill instead so as with Jamie we eventually get our player !

That makes no sense, we traded for Josh Hill. Its not like they are even the same kind of player.

Well we were interested in using pick 49 on Callum Sinclair , its a funny coincidence that he turns up to play for Subiaco in 2012 after missing last years draft and then gets drafted by WCE this draft .

I wonder if the club got in his ear at all, so he decided the WAFL was the best place to play to stay under our noses.

Who is this bloke?

Funny, i'm reading an article saying how he is likely to be called straight into the eagles team round 1 to play fremantle if Nicnat doesn't pull up in time.... So what happened to lycett? He die or something? 3 years ahead.

Honestly perthnow

Callum was CHF in 2010 VFL team of the year. played state footy for Vic amateurs Under 19 in 2008. Played state footy for WA against SA in 2012. Invited to 2010 and 2011 draft camps. Never played TAC in VIC just mainly school footy so under the radar. pretty sure he carried injuries into end of 2010 and 2011 VFL seasons meant he couldnt finish well so that stuffed any hope of getting drafted in those years and also was still a little under done physically being a tall. Think he strained his patella tendon at 2010 draft camp that set him back few months into 2011. He needed to play where he could be more the go to key player hence headed west to Subi for 2012. He can play back, forward or go into the ruck if needed. He is a great kick for goal. To see his type of game watch all of the 2012 round 3 highlights clip on subi web site against sth freo.

I would expect that Lycett and Sinclair would be given NAB cup to determine who would play if neccessary. I would be blown away and severely disappointed if it wasn't Lycett easily as he has had 2.5 years in the system, he should be far more developed and ready.

I'm with FiveStrings with this one.
Competed well, some nice hit outs to advantage also.
Will be one to watch certainly.

Became the 207th West Coast Eagle and the second debutant of the year (after Cripps, so the first real debutant).

Also became the 9th player to wear the #22 and the first since Jaymie Graham retired in 2008.
