We should do everything to get him.He will be the best player in the comp in a few years. His a tough player we need that we don't have and is all skills.Trade our first pick,Walker and Hampson for him do it man. Those guys may come good but they can be covered. The first pick would likely be a ok midfielder at best.

Yes, I'd love to get Dangerfield, but can't see him leaving, Crows have a very good future and he is at the forefront of that, we could do with his attack and ferocity at the contest, something we seriously lack

Like him, not quite this much though.

Richard Pratt would have done it in a heartbeat i reckon if he was here.

The only bit that made sense was that 'his a player that we don't have'. You have correctly observed that he plays for Adelaide and not Carlton...you may be starting from a fair way back, but I think your stature on this board is growing by the day.

I really feel we wouldn't miss it that much those guys because their really wouldn't be a great key position player taken at our pick. The problem is those guys are not Adelaide born so they would refuse the deal.

I would do Russell,Jacobs and our fist pick but Adelaide probably would not do it.Adelaide would get some good players but i think they may refuse a elite player traded.

We would still lack tall position forward and defenders but we probably have to give more faith to Bower,Casboult ,Austin and take a few in the draft and hope for the best with development.

A midfield of Murphy,Gibbs,Yarran,Dangerfield,Judd,Lucas and Simpson will go a long way.Betts and Gartlett could rotate in their when not in a forward pocket also.

Overrated like the OP's sense of humour.

Wouldn't swap Kreuzer's bad games for Dangerfield.
Overrated ? we would cream to get him in to Carlton. The guy first year he hardly trained when he was studying and the first game he took the game like it was so rather easy. The other thing he did it playing interstate. He would be ripping the game apart if he was in Melbourne.Wait and see how good he will be.

He is just what we need.

Hard hitting midfielder, leading half forward, elite pace, aggression, confidence.

Don't we can get any kind of suitable deal done.

He's exactly the sort of player that you guys need.
Tell me about it mate, tough players win your flags 90% of the time not nice soft guys with skills. The toughest guy in our list is Wiggins probably and he can't get a game although his skills isn't no where like Dangerfield in my opinion.

He's a future captain.

He'll cost you top shelf though.

Probably Gibbs, and IMO, you guys should do that deal.

Hey guys. I get the feeling that if danger was going anywhere, your trade would have to involve alot. The crows see him as a leader (captain, not sure when), and the bloke to lead us to our next flag.

I believe that you guys should be after kpp's (correct me if I'm wrong). What about mckernan etc? I just don't think we will let danger go.

While I don't mind Gibbs, I'd much rather Dangerfield now. That deal would never happen. And he has already stated his intentions of wanting the captaincy and desire to finish his career at Adelaide.

Would trade Gibbs for Dangerfield in a heartbeat at the moment.

Lol yeah, I think the one thing Gibbs has going for him right now is that even in terrible form he is still finding enough of the ball to make him a worthwhile dreamteamer. Again, correct me if I'm wrong

You should have moved to the GC.

Overrated?

Team Mo' hit the nail on the head.

Won't get him.

And we shouldn't give up any of our stars for him.

Mcleod was a better footballer than Ricciutto.

Bradley was better than Ratten and Brown.

Give me the gun midfielder who can maintain possession and kick goals.

Gibbs will be better than Dangerfield.

Elite kick and good overhead.

Dangerfield should finish top ten in the Brownlow in 2010 like Gibbs managed in his third year.
Dangerfield>>>>>>>>>>>Davis
We need a tall more than another midfielder/forward.

Davis is an elite KP prospect at 196 cms.

He made a statement in a interview last week that he wants to captain the Crows in the near future. He aint goin anywhere folks. Even if he did want to leave we would want a player like Gibbs to get a deal done.

Probably Gibbs for him if both wanted back home although wouldn't like to lose Gibbs. He has bond with our other 2 number 1 picks that we got with those bad years.

Who would want to lose either of them, they're both excellent young players?

However, I think Dangerfield is the kind of player you can build a premiership on, whereas Gibbs is the type of player that would top off a premiership side.
