PC wizz needed...

hey guys,

does anyone here have good PC knowledge? here is the problem...every time I start my PC the light on the monitor flashes green and it takes some time for the monitor to start. I have to turn the monitor on & off for some time before it actually gives me the picture.

I know its not just me....does anyone know what it is that causes this and or solutions for it?

Monitor may be broken. How old is the monitor? Is there another one or a friends that you could test on your PC to check if it is your Monitor that is stuffed?

Check your cables and then do what mattdavies_03 said; swap out the monitor. That'll tell you if it's your monitor or computer

It might not even be broken, it might just be slow. I once had an ancient moniter that took 3 minutes to warm up. Again I would suggest checking the monitor to see if it is broken or not properly plugged up. If not, your monitor is probably just old, and you should upgrade.
