dude, i am loyal to palm so i'm biased. the main thing to ask is how much will you spend, and what features you think you want.

Without knowing that, I'll give you a couple recommendations:

1. Zire 71 from Organiser World for $349. Until the end of the month, they are offering a free MP3 Audio Kit ($165 value).

• Palm OS 5.2.1

Battery Type
• Rechargeable Lithium Polymer 900mAh battery
Stereo Headphone Jack
• Accepts standard 3.5mm stereo headphone plug.
Expansion Card Slot
• Supports MultiMediaCard, SD and SDIO expansion cards
Integrated Camera
• Output Image Format: JPEG
• Available Resolutions: 640x480, 320x240, 160x120 (VGA)
• Minimum Illumination: 5 lux at 640x480, 10 lux at 320x240, 20 lux at 160x120
• Also features auto exposure and automatic white balance control. Synchronisation with Desktop
Flexible Storage Capacity
• Highly efficient operating system w/ 4MB of masked ROM and 16MB of SDRAM stores thousands of addresses, years of appointments, hundreds of to-do items, notes, memos, and more than 50 applications.

2. Tungsten T3 also from Organiser World, for $599. Until the end of the month you also get a free MYOB Pack valued at $498, which contains full versions of MYOB PocketAccounts and Business Basics.

Operating System
• Palm OS 5.2.1
Processor
• 400MHz Intel XScale™
Stretch Display
• 320x480 colour Transflective TFT display with portrait and landscape support
Built-In Bluetooth® Technology
• Communicate wirelessly and share files, photos and more with nearby Bluetooth devices via integrated Bluetooth.
Battery
• Internal, rechargeable Lithium Polymer 900m Ah battery
Built-In Microphone
• Record your thoughts with optimised Voice Record button on side of device.
Memory
• 64MB (52MB actual storage capacity).
Palm Expansion Slot
• Supports SD, SDIO and MultiMediaCard expansion cards
5-Way Navigator Button
• Easily access important information with just one hand.
Built-In Speaker & Stereo Headphone Jack
• Listen to tunes, games, videos or voice recordings with built-in mono speaker or stereo headphones with standard 3.5 mm headphone jack.

3. Wait for the imminent release of the Tungsten E2. The Tungsten E has the popular form factor of the Palm V series. But you'd be happy with either of the first two options.
