Peake - False Advertising!

Peake, who represented Australia in the International Rules series in 2006 after finishing third in his club’s best and fairest in the same year, played 18 games in 2009 for a career total of 75.

Hopefully St Kilda have already signed off on the deal because he didn't even finish in the top ten that year!!! Well done FFC for making Peake sound a lot better than he was, I am looking forward to not having to put up with him slipping over, wheeling around to get on his right and then only to kick it off his shin.

That thread is about Peake being traded but my post was about bringing up that he never finished third in our b&f in 2006.

I think they might have meant third in the Brownlow for Freo. But most people were going WTF when he polled that high. It was a joke.

I can't see Peakey getting too much game time, but if he does he will single handedly destroy Saint Nicks season. Saint Nick should spend the off season practicising marking helicopter punts and retrieving grubber kicks along the ground.

I've had issues with the guy ever since he got ahead of himself and started wearing those "superman" shoes....As soon as a player sports those funky stand out from the crowd footy boots their career takes a dive.

Good riddance and good luck breaking into that side....I expect him to do maybe a half medhurst..String a couple of good running games together (Playing nothing more than a link man of course), fremantle get slapped around in the media and then disapear from sight..
