Pearl Jam concert tickets are on sale from Aug 11th on ticketek.com.au, but showbiz.com.au already has the option to pay for them. They are charging $159 for 'gold' and 'gold general admission'.

Has anyone bought tickets with this mob before?

Why are they so expensive when ticketek has quoted them at about $120?

SOB'S probably put the booking fee like the visa presale of 20 bucks a ticket on top making such ticketek fees quoted at 123 up to 143.

Then add in a surcharge and a fee and there ya go.

Yeah, that's exactly what happens. I got 2 Gold Reserve tickets with the Visa Presale this morning. With all the fees it ended up around $160 a ticket. Still, should be awesome :thumbsu:
 
Have heard those showbiz tix are usually just crap with an inflated price.

I'll wait for the 10c tix to go on sale I think.

When was the cut-off date? I joined recently too and haven't been able to find any info on it.

I haven't seen it officially, but on the ten club site their saying the 7th of July was

Also I rang the showbiz ticket site and its definately standing. They weren't sure though if their would be different sections for standing or not, but they didn't think so
 
The 7th July is for the US tickets...I hope. Well, it was mentioned in the email regarding the US tickets anyway. I doubt the cut off for us would be the 7th when the dates were only officially announced a few days ago.
 
l am about to order my tickets thou my work site @ $123.90 a pop..playing @ the dome must put the extra buck on the ticket price cause pearl jam last time were an even hundred at rod laver. l just hope the standard is still good l have never been to an open air show before

but it's 3 yrs later... and this time theyre playing at a venue that would cost a lot more to hire.. with a more high profile support in BH.. and a 2nd support in Liam Finn.

123.90 is a bargain in the scheme of things.

I wish they would just officialy say what the deal with the ten club seats is, and when the cut-off date was. I was gonna get em on showbiz, but I don't want to get them that way, and then find out I can still get them through ten club

Tickets are GA, with priority entry.

Don't understand why a pair of tickets is $239 USD? That's over $140 AUD each, when the standard price is $124?:confused: It's only marginally cheaper than the other premium pre-sales and we have already had to pay 10 club membership.

Absolute bargain! Ben Harper would be nearly a hunge by himself.
R7 album is pretty good too. Should be a great support act.

My question is? How do any of these pre-sale sites sell tickets without a seat map for the punters to look at? You could pay top dollar for a seated ticket at Telstra Dome - miles away from the front.

Seems strange to me. But I will be buying my two from tenclub tomorrow anyway.
 
Just checked the dates, they are playing here in Perth the night I get married. Interesting as the song we have chosen for my bride to walk down the isle to is 'Hard Sun' by Eddie Vedder.

Anyone know much about/planning to use the Mastercard Applause Presale for Pearl Jam Perth show.

Says that the sale starts 11am. Would that be AEST? Not too sure.

Can't wait to catch PJ this time. That will be Neil Young and Pearl Jam in the one year for me, stoked!
 
I have been cranking I Got Id a fair bit, love Neil's guitar playing on that song. The B-Side wasn't too bad either.

Pearl Jam's earlier live versions of ****in' Up are pretty good too.

those who cant be arsed standing for 6 hrs.

and gold seating for example would be the chappell stands at adelaide oval. the stage will be on members wing.
 
Has anyone seen an ad for the tour on TV?

For those who have, what is the second song that they play? First it is "Alive", then what's the next one?
