Peel Thunder.....a basket case??

Went to Claremont yesterday to watch (my Wife is a tigers girl) so I have to give up the odd Sharkss game for the greater good!!) and was left utterlly speechless......

Peel have huge problems both on and off the ground. They have a coach who appears to be completely out of his depth. The lack credible strength and conditioning staff. They are completely broke, and can't see how this is going to change......

This is not intended as a cheap shot.....I personally feel really sorry for the club and all involved, especially the kids that are being developed in such a losing culture (something that has plagued Freo for so long).

I belive the WAFC has to do something (more than just prop them up financially). What do you guys think???

It's not really any different to how they've been during their entire existance is it?

The WAFC seem to be sticking by them, and I don't see how that will change any time soon.

Yeah look I have given them more than my fair share than stick but in terms of players being drafted to AFL clubs Peel Thunder would be in the top 4 or 5 in the WAFL for that category since 2000

And Claremont gets the third highest score in WAFL history, kicking 38.13.241 to a needless 46, to kill them by 195. When they verse Perth, you'd expect a bigger margin.

Its simple really they only play a half of footy. They may as well hit the showers after half time as no one shows up. Give the Baldivis Brumby players a go I think they would put in a 4 quarter performance

Very true statements both of them. The second reason is why I believe they shouldn't be omitted from the WAFL. In fairness to them it is a great recruiting club for AFL clubs, but they just need to learn how to recruit themselves.
