clementine I changed Pendlebury's defensive side to 7 as I think this better reflects it. Pendlebury is very good at tackling whoever needs to be tackled and fighting for the ball to either get it himself or lock it and as I said is very underrated in the 2nd and 3rd efforts areas, he may look laconic but he fights when the ball is on the deck.

When I say unaccountable I mean, he is not overly accountable for his direct oponent, but neither is his direct oponent accountable on him. But at this stage of his career and not exactly being the #1 midfielder, he is not going to get the likes of Simon Black going on him to force him to be accountable.

I admire them both for their distinct differences in playing styles.

Pendlebury goes under the radar somewhat, Thomas would wake the dead after kicking a goal at times.

Pendlebury by a fair margin at present. More consistently composed, four quarter player, more damaging. Has more presence and reads general play better.

Thomas, more a burst player, opportunist. Indifferent delivery but has the hair and flair. Outstanding control close to the ground - bit Daics-like with the short legs allowing good ball control at ground level.

Both good hands. Pendlebury has greater development potential because he'll play more positions and he'll always be bigger.
