After round 5, we sit at 92.42.

While I'm very happy we won the game today, and for neutral supporters it was a thriller, we really should've won the game by 5 goals.

Considering we're only playing GWS and GS once each, and have already played Richmond and Port, we're not going to have an abundance of opportunities to redeem our poor percentage.

We have the Bulldogs and Brisbane in the next two rounds, and we need to really put them to the sword.

No half-arse, let's play for a quarter or two and cruise to the finish line.

No disrespect to the Bulldogs and Brisbane either, but if we're still the side we think we are, we need to put these two away.

Just keep the wins coming IMO. Our season couldn't have begun much worse from a personnel standpoint. To be 3-2 and to have bounced back from the Carlton debacle is just massive. We're just after finals and fit blokes on the park. What good did that massive percentage do us last year?
Go pies

We do need to boost our percentage but really after the Carlton game we have done all we could and more, the feeling around the club after that match
it could have gone either way.

How many changes are we making on a week to week basis we have looked so unsettled and under enormous pressure really we have done fantastic to be where we are now if we had fallen 3 games behind the Bombers we were no chance at top 4 and the double chance.

So all in all baby steps now and come out blazing later in the year with the amount of games some of our players are missing they should be really fresh when we need them which is in sept and oct.:thumbsu:

Yeah, I agree to some extent, because I think percentage will decide which of the top 5 teams misses out on the 4. We really need to make sure we pulverise the inferior teams (which we have struggled to do at times over the years) especially given our draw.

Cumulative Wins plus really destroying a few teams along the way will do the job. The fixture is more difficult, which suggests if we are still able to get top 4 despite the difficulties, we will be well equipped for success in September.
