So, we've recently bought a new car and I've been thinking about all of the awesome combinations you could stick on a set of Brisbane Lions personalised plates.

Anyone got any great ideas? What would YOU get if you were to get a set (or if you are uber rich and have some already? :P)?

Probably won't get some but hey, who's to say we can't waste a few 1's and 0's discussing it? :D

Mine got stolen........ again:mad:

If I have to get new ones, they better not be with the new Lion:eek:

They still use the proper lion, thank christ. Where'd yours get flogged from CtD? *touch wood* never happened to me & I've had em for a few years.

Nige: R34li0n?

First time one got stolen at the Sydney Casino of all places, the second time the GABBA, but lucky for me I just used the spare from the first time I had them replaced.

Mine are very Lions specific and I guess I should have just got something like QWR67 which would have meant nothing to anyone.

I got mine the day they released them, think it was about 2000 or so.:thumbsu:

I always remember Richard Osborne's Red Toyota Celica from the early, early 90's and he had ROYS44 which was a great double entendre for the Lions.

I always wonder who has those plates today?

Just out of interest, why would someone steal someone elses plates? To stick it on their wall or something?

Replace their current ones and drive through speed cameras over the limit without worrying about it, amongst other nefarious purposes.

I have wondered the same, I am guessing mine are on a wall somewhere, they are pretty AFL specific.

Thankfully I have not had any fines yet, but seriously expected it when they were stolen in Sydney:confused:

Would you believe I have VicRoads club plates: BL097 hanging up in my garage because I bought them when I worked for my family company and my prick of a brother won't sign them over to me as they're registered in his company's name as I was driving a company car and because they made a loss on my car when I left the company he won't sign them over.

The best Lions plates as '97 was the first year of Fitzroy in the VFL and '97 was the first year of the Lions in the AFL!
