Me and a few mates are thinking of heading over to Perth in round 4 to watch the Hawks take on the Eagles.

I've heard tickets to any Eagles games are hard to come by. Anyone made the trip and have advice on tickets??

Would like to book flights soon but want to make sure we will be able to get tickets.

My Family that live in Perth always get into the games, You just got to be purposeful about it. But what I would suggest is get in contact with the WA Hawks supporters group, I met them a few years back and its a great little community. They have all sorts of Member functions before and after games.

G'day Bucko,

Member tickets are hard to come by. With 2500+ members in the state and only ~600 tickets available to the game, we need to enter a ballot. The ballot papers are only sent to W.A based members, so you're probably out of luck via this method, however, if you get in early enough we sometimes come by some to sell (usually people who can't make it anymore).

Your best bet will be to get on ticketmaster at 9am, the Monday 2 weeks prior and buy tickets. I've never had a problem getting tickets to any game - except the western derby.

If you're much later than 9am, well, good luck :-)

As Crazywildhorse mentioned, we (and the club) run an open training session the day before the game (Fab Friday for Saturday games, and Super Saturday for Sunday games). Sausage Sizzle, Drinks, Raffle, Merchandise, Hawka, Face Painting, Player Signings and a light training session are all to be had at these events.

Thanks for all the info guys. Just wanted to make sure there would be a chance to get some tickets.

Cheers

I've wanted to do the trip for years, but booking flights, when you dont know until two weeks before the game if you have a seat is too much of a risk.
Its a long flight to end up watching it at a nearby pub...

I'm willing to take the risk, got as much chance as anyone else getting a ticket at 9am two weeks before. Probably going to go for 3 or 4 nights to check out Perth anyway
