Is is possible to get a PhD in Accounting? And can it help career in any way, or better of with the Bachelor, then the CPA/CA and MBA?

Cheers

Yeah but you wouldn't do it. An MBA would be a better fit but don't take this personally an MBA is pointless in Perth IMHO.

pHD in accounting is more academic. It's not a field like science where the main job is research. If you want to research the discipline of accounting and the theories behind it and research that then a phd will do. Seems like something you'd do after quite a few years in the industry if you have the passion.

The only reason I could think of doing this is if you aspire to become an academic... Otherwise, complete waste of time...

I have a masters in accounting.

A PHD is about being an academic. If you wish to write in journals etc. having a PHD will provide credibility
