Just wanted to get some thoughts on the great man. I can not believe he hasn’t been poached by one of the major networks to cover the AFL. Seriously some of those Ch 9 and 10 execs must be off their t i t s on Southwark! If you think about it, along with the astute Mark Robinson, he reads the game better than any other so called expert in the land and has the raspiest voice I have ever heard. His signature wolf-growls of “Geeeeeez he’s a good player”, “Geeeeeez, that’s guts” and “Awwwwwwwwwwwwww” are second to none and along with one of Boothy/Ned Zelic/Peter Wilkins would make the best tandem commentary team in the land… possibly Oceania.

All he needs is a good shave, bit of a wash and he’s ready for prime time TV. Any thoughts?
