Pick 12 from Hawks?

After browsing the Hawks Board, it seems they are interested in Travis Johnstone.

Would Hawks and Melbourne be happy if trade Johnstone & Warnock for Pick 12?

Gain: Pick 12
Lost: Johnstone & Warnock

Besides Johnstone, Hawks after backman. Having Warnock as part of the deal, might get us Pick 12.

However, i don't think we will deal with Hawthorn. Expect to see, if Travy tells melbourne he wants out, him either go to Sydney or Brisbane. I rekon Brisbane would b front runner at the moment.

Couldn't handle him going to Hawthorn....would lose respect for him. He's got plenty of value and well worth a pick 11/12. Hope he stays though.

We'd be down a draft pick if we did that. Not sure in such a shallow draft. With the Johnstone only trade we'd end up with 4, 14 and 21, which I'd rather than 4, 8 and whatever junk pick we end up at the end.

Brisbane will only give us Collingwood's pick that they get from Cam Wood. Not sure about TJ and 21 for 8. Travis is 9-10-11-12 on his own if you ask me. I would try hard for Sydney's pick 11. But yes that I would be happy with that Hawthorn deal. I do think that Hawthorn need a player like Travis, he will compliment Mitchell, Lewis, Sewell and Hodge to a point (much like Crawford does but he wont be around forever). His delivery into Franklin and Roughead could be lethal.
