Chances of Pick 2 is slim. Which of the following do you think MFC will end up?

1) Pick 1 & 2

2) Pick 1 & 3

or

3) Pick 1 & 4

Tom Scully will be MFC's Pick 1. If MFC get Pick 2 or 3 or 4, who do you think MFC should draft if available at one of those picks?

True, but the way we are playing we are a real chance of notching up 5 wins, Freo and Richmond at the G.

If we don't win more than 4 then it will be 1 and 3. Freo look like they are going to get off the bottom. No hope away and struggle at home.

But yeah I think it is looking unlikely will get the priority. I think we can lock Freo in and the Richmond game I'm not convinced on yet.

If so, MFC will draft either one of Jack Trengove, Anthony Morabito and Kane Lucas or trade Pick 2, 3 or 4?

Its all going to come down to the Richmond game. We'll beat Freo because they're hopeless, and we'll beat Richmond because they're even less competent and will probably fold like a deck of cards to secure Scully.

5 wins = no priority for us.

I'm guessing we'll get pick 2 or 3...

Well if we have pick 3 then it's likely that Morabito or Lucas would have gone to Freo at pick 2.

I wouldnt put it past West Coast to not win another game and get a priority pick themselves. That would mean if you win 5 games you would probably finish 13th and could end with pick 5 only. Its a terrible system the AFL currently have in place.

but I'm worried and most certainly stupid, i think we can beat Geelong. I have no idea, they will be very relax and confident coming into this game. But we play ok at Kardinia, lost by 30 points last year then 3 years ago we drew year before we won.

i Have a hunch, it happened two years ago against Adelaide when we won and last year unbelieveably against Freo. (Then again the hunch said we'd Essendon a month ago)

I dont think we will lose intentionally... the coaching staff just need to play it smart and "rest" a few of our better players, if we are 16 points.

Its not win less than 4 games in 1 season and you get a priority it is less than 4 games in consecutive years. Only Melbourne and West COast are elegible

Freo will get Pav and Sandilands back for the derby and win it. Cant see Cox playing again this season if hes hurt his groin again today. Freo always lift for that game. Will be interesting when we travel to play them in round 22, unfortunetly we play Subiaco very well.

I had to laugh at the sheer stupidity of that sentence, not getting picks 1 and 2 won't set us back at all and we will still get a top 5 pick at the least. Picks 1 and 2 would accelerate the resurgence but not getting them won't set us back at all, besides even we didn't get 1 and 2 we will still get a quality kid.

Firstly, no one can beat the quality of Scully

Secondly, It is preferable if MFC get all the bargaining power in October trade and or November draft to get as many quality young guns as possible.

Lastly, 2 quality young guns (with Scully) is better than 1 quality young gun (without Scully).
