Pick 4

Hey Tiger fans!

On the Hawks boards people have been posting that Ryan Griffen may fall to us at number 5 as the dogs could take Franklin and you guys might take Roughead. As a hawks fan we need KPP's but would not be unhappy if Griffen did slip through.

What would your thoughts be if you had to decide between Roughead and Griffen?

I think we'll take the best available with 1 and 4, so I don't think Griffen will slip through to you. We've got 3 other picks in the top 20 to spend on specific types.

Sounds fair, it doesn't really worry me who we get with pick 5 as we will get 2 of the 5 standouts in the draft (as do you).

i would think (and hope) we would take griffen. deledio and griffen would be an absolute dream come true.

I was keen for Griffen at 2 but got shot down by everyone on the "Bling Bling" bandwagon. We haven't even got him yet and I am already sick of it. I have a feeling that the dogs will take Franklin, so if you guys take Griffen I'd be more than happy with Tambling and Roughead.

Seriously, i think Richmond and Hawthorn are going to experience a win-win situation with this draft, unless the recruiters go hard on ecstasy the night before.

but Richmond HAVE to take Deledio, we would be absolutely mad if we dont.

if it goes Deledio-Tambling-Griffen we could go for either Monfries or Eckerman at #4.
im not convinced there is a huge difference between Roughead/Franklin/Willets/Gibson.
we can gamble on picking up either Willetts or Gibson at 12 or 16.

Your joking right TOO. After the top 5 there is a pretty big gap between class and skill. The top 5 will have griffen, tambling, Deledio, Roughhead and Franklin in it and that is for sure. By getting 2 of these is what im really excited about. Whoeva we choose aslong as we get deledio i will be very happy.

Tambling wont last so i wont comment but would love to get him at 4.
Griffen would add that steady head in the midfield and play 18+ games next year
Roughhead would provide us with KP versatility and he is hard at the ball.
And franklin could become anything maybe an adam goodes style ruckman

No im not Joking.like i said if both tambling and griffen are gone by the time pick 4 comes along we could go for another midfeilder.TW when appointed was given the full power to select who he wants.no ifs or buts.
Is Roughead that much better than say a Willets?
Franklin there are just to many queries about his attitude.
If anything both Monfries and Eckerman performed better in the U/18 champs than Griffen and that in itself wouldnt have gone unnoticed by TW.
all im saying is there is a possibilty this may happen.if we end up with Roughead then good.as long as we stay clear of Franklin
