What would trump pick 19, another pick and a player from Essendon ( I'd say it would be a Davey or Jetta)? Also thinking about trading a top 5 player for a compensation pick which could play a part in a deal.

Dawes or Reid would probably get it done.
Not such a good deal when you consider what the asking price might be.
Caff and Tooves would get you the 48th listed player on the GC list but not much more.
As you know we tend tend to over rate our players.
I dont think that Freo screwed this up. Melb had a lower draft pick that suited Bris & Melb offered the carrot to Clark, which he decided to take.
Freo not willing to part with picks 16 & 20 so the best deal won the day.
Although I thought that Clark could have waited until Monday morning before he gave up on Freo.......unless he already knew that it wasnt going to happen. If he went into the draft then he would have gone to GWS or Melb with their pick 12.

The only deal I could come up with that would have got us anywhere near Caddy is pick 25 + Keefe.
Bock is the only quality option that GC have at KPD for the time being so Keefe would have to be part of any deal to get Caddy. However Keefe on his lonesome obviously wouldn't get the job done.
Edit: TBH I don't think that offer would get us anywhere near Caddy anyway. To put it in perspective I'd rate Caddy ahead of Fasolo and I'd be surprised if we accepted a deal of Gillies (equivalent of Keefe) and pick 26 from Geelong for Fas, even if KPD was an area of concern for us....
