Congrats guys........too good for us tonight.

Held your structure well and were very disciplined.

Smashed us at the stoppages and always seemed to have a get out man.

Dale Thomas was fantastic.....first time I've seen his work rate live.

enjoy the win......

You won the clearances easily and Thomas was average tonight.

But your graciousness is worthy of respect.

Also, no offence but God your lot play a boring brand of footy.

Thats what the media is saying in every paper tomorrow.. evidently even though we were missing Buckley Didak Holland Licuria Lonie and Medhurst we only won because Adelaide had injuries and a 5 day break... no mention of the fact we went in with 9 players aged 21 and under

I don't remember anyone making excuses for us on Anzac day after a slog in the wet and a 4 day break

i'm proud as punch tonight! having been there to see it, all i can say i was glad to see something special. i've written before on BF that this collingwood side has some mongrel to it and that impresses me. we can win ugly, yet we have players that can finesse such as dale thomas and scott pendlebury. our pressure off the ball is genuine and it comes from every member of the 22.

i don't want to get carried away but i think this group can achieve something significant this season.

Good, let them keep making excuses, only media. Young blokes are definatley making a difference, nothing to do with injuries tonight, they ran all over them from 15-20 minute mark of 3rd quarter. Adelaide had only 5 players who got more than 20 posessions, not enough run, I reckon a few teams may have worked out that Adelaide rely on tempo BS and posession, and that a young team that runs their arses off can take'em.

I think it's fair to say that Pendles moving forward and kicking goals wasn't on anyone radar this year but moving him permenantly would be an utter waste of his wonderful hands in heavy traffic AND he is only going to get better. He is an on-baller that is able to kick goals which is the envy of every club picking up these types. Everyone likens him to Dal Santo which is a lovely compliment for the kid but it's now time to say PENDLEBURY PLAYS LIKE PENDLEBURY!!!!

Pendles can win a hard ball already. Dal Santo, as skillful as he is, gets a heap of the footy floating across HB.
