Quite the opposite, really.

I for one approve of the way the Bombers made the Bears look like road cones at the pointy end of the season. Finals season is when these Bombers do best, as despite the fact they are not as flash in the main season, they save their best for the big time.

The Bears came up against a side that wins finals for fun. Nine in a row now, including two flags...

It wasn’t their fault. It doesn’t help when Mr September (me) is tearing it up in the midfield. When I’m in that mood, we’re pretty hard to stop.

The Bombers are the greatest finals team the league has seen. With the greatest finals player in the game. It was only a matter of time before we did this to someone. The Bears were just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
