Player Protection

When the Charlotte Bobcats (?!) join the league each team is allowed to protect 9 players, i think, from the expansion draft ...who would you hold onto:

Indiana...O'Neal, Miller, Tinsley, Harrington, Bender, Foster, Artest, Brezec, J. Jones

i think teams can only protect 8 players..
from those who are under contract for the 2004-05 season..

Can protect 8 players - cannot be a Free Agent to my understanding until you re-sign that player.

It will make for very interesting times though. Many big contracts may be left unprotected - Hello Raef.

Curry, Chandler, Crawford, Fizer, Baxter, Hinrich, Rose, Williams maybe....depends how he recovers from his accident. The Bobcats will be pretty bad for a while.

I've heard good things about Fred Jones......., his in his 2nd year and Larry Bird loves the kid, all he needs to do is work on his jumpshot and he'll be getting mins.

Foster doesn't look that bad same with Pollard but I'll take Foster for now as I haven't seen what Pollard can do to this team... hopefully Pollard can be very productive in the team and ........

Jones did well in pre-season comp...but struggled with his shot...will be good player for us...Foster started the season off well..11 rebounds off the bench...let's see if he can keep that up for a whole season
