Are some of our players taking us for a ride?
I think this is a fair question as there is no doubt that attitude is the reason we are losing these close games. It's amazing how we are all of a sudden able to turn it on when the game is over rather than play four quarters of solid to good football. We lost tonight not because Fremantle are a better team but rather becuase they wanted it more. If we paid more respect to our opponents they wouldnt be scoring so many cheap goals, we think we are better than we are! Why are our defenders so loose? Isn't their primary objective to stop their opponent? Is this their fault or Ratten's?
Why do some of our players make such terrible choices? Is it their fault or their teammate's for not presenting well enough?
If someone told me that all 22 players gave 100% tonight I'd call them a lier, quite simply, we played arrogant football and its become somewhat of a theme for us this year. We have 4 or so awesome players giving their all and putting their hand up to take the game on whilst at the same time a shitload of passengers. I'm over Cloke and Wiggins, time to move on from these guys because they simply aren't up to it. Give Fisher another crack or even Hartlett, just try something different because these guys aren't working. It makes me so frustrated when all our supporters continually defend Cloke.
I expect us to come out absolutely firing next week, because if not, we are well and truely ****ed for this season.
