Playing MK9 online?????

Hi all just wandering if any one can help on playing mortal kombat online?
ive made a uk ps3 account cause thats where i brought the game and i redeemed the online pass code and downloaded the content but everytime i go to the game n try online it looks for the server then says its connecting to the lobby then drops out and says to check ethernet cable

Could it be because it's banned in Australia so there could be difficulties finding a suitable server/opponent?

The only time i found i could play online against someone was when i was in an aus room......

Those that have been successful thus far might not be playing much longer, apparently word has been filtering down that WBIE are banning Australian IP addresses and starting to contact Australian ISPS, in order to stop Australians playing the game online.

Whirlpool's forum has referenced TPG as one ISP that has done this.
