I used to play semi-seriously as a kid, stopped when I left school and since then have just had the odd social hit every so often. Signed back up for a midweek men's competition starting next month, and am kind of psyched to get back into it.

Anybody else play?

The thing about tennis is that it's a sport where the skills are so technical that it is virtually impossible to take it up at a late age even if one has elite athleticism, unlike many team sports.

Sounds the same as me. Semi seriously...then I discovered money, booze and girls! lol

I'd love to get back into, to bad my local club died in the arse...

I've been searching for a decent club in Perth, but so far I can't find one that works for me

Yeah same as me, randomly bought a new racket and been going to the country tournaments and getting my ass kicked! Need somewhere to play in Melbs but I'm damn rusty..
