Can all the Carlton supporters please contact your Football Club board and tell them not to trade FEV and Lance. My concern is as a Collingwood supporter is that our revamped football department will stop looking at West Coast hacks will do something really stupid and look at Fev & Lance for draft picks 2 & 5.

Not wanting to get into a turf war with you lot but Collingwood has two players already that are similar. Tarrant get lost goes missing and has a number of bad hair styles. Anthony big body can mark but has an engine that makes a Hyundai Excel look huge. So please keep Lance and Fev and let us keep draft picks 2 & 5

Let Collingwood pick up two midfielders.

Collingwood and Carlton have not really traded all that well over the years Scotland, Barry Mitchell, Mick McQuane, Trent Hotton, Fraser Murphy even Peter McKenna, Ray Byrne, Russell Oslhen, Craig Davis (we even did not keep his son). You guys even got Preston in the VFA which was our old mob.

And to DaShag on fire, WTTF and Koutou43 we do not want Pretendergast, Houlihan (we had the oldest) DeLusa. Unless we can trade Chad Morrison and Neil Balme and Brad Gotch

Scotland was one of our best players during the last half of this year and will continue to play an important role, and we got him for pick 35 (Brent Hall from memory), so I would think that's one trade we've done well.

Pretty happy with Scotland for pick 35. Two pretty good solid years and another 4 or 5 left in him. Pick 35 would be getting into the speculative area of the draft where it is much less than 50% of getting a good player.

If the club gave up pick 36 this year for a proven 22 year old midfielder from another club I would be pretty happy with that deal.

And hopefully we can bully Port and that midfielder will be Salopek :D

Pick 36 and Camporeale. Try and get the deal done. Threaten the PSD. Then it leaves pick 1 in PSD available for someone else or to bargain with.

Don't see why any team would really want Campo
Maybe Pick 36 and Sporn? Sporn is from SA and maybe just needs a fresh start to reviatalise his career
Maybe a straight swap for Houlihan? Probably pushing it a bit with that one but he does have a lot of potential and is too classy for the VFL.

Camporeale is a SA boy. Chocco has a habit of going for experienced midfielders. Campo is out of contract. Pick 36 and Campo is something. Not saying they would take it but I would offer it.
I would also offer up Sporn. To be honest they can have Sporn, Campo and 36.

Campo really only has 2-3 years left in him so If Port traded Salopek for Campo and Pick 36 they're getting a 50/50 draftee and a player who only 2-3 years left in him but a potential 10 year player

Hopefully they'll be pressured into accepting Pick 36 and Sporn or if worse comes to worse we can hopefully land him in the PSD

Well thats what I mean. It is not a good deal for Port but they might be tempted to get in and get something since he looks like leaving. Then we could look around for a few others out of contract.

Remember Salopek was dropped for the last showdown on the weekend so Choco must be of the opinion that he is leaving. Thats a pretty big slap in the face. Especially since he decided to play P Burgoyne, Wilson and a few others who were about 50% fit.

You lot cannot focus can you

Or do you want to dispose of Lance & Fev

Why would Port want to pick up Campo they need an outside receiver when they have a handful of Burgoynes and Autumn leaves Wanganeen.

You guys are like Collingwood nothing to trade just pick up kids

What do you mean we have nothing to trade?
Lance will be traded and in return we will get a first round pick as well as something else (average player or 2nd rounder)
Lappin is likely to be traded as well and who knows what some clubs will pay for him if they are challenging for a flag in the next 2-3 years

Collingwood's best trade bait on the other hand is Woewodin and I'm sure he'll be a huge hit at whatever club he goes too

I hope you are right deluxeman. But I think Woey will be like Sav Rocca and Stinky McGough we will cut him and he will get picked up by Freo or Melbourne maybe even Sydney.

I do not think the pies can get anything in the draft we like you lot need to draft kids not 27 year olds like Caracella and Morrison. We hit the jackpot from Freo a couple of years ago with Clement and Holland for a draft pick they used to get McPhee (now at Essendon) Freo then traded McPhee for Shirley who they delisted and Adelaide put on the rookie list.

Occasionally the trades work but gee give me kids anytime even give me rookie list kids but 27 year olds looking for two or three years of superannaution no thank
