Trying to get a dishwasher working. No water supply going to it at the moment,.

Ive just checked the inlet tap, and it has a hose leading up to the kitchen tap. From that same inlet tap is a hose leading to the dishwasher. The inlet tap seems to supply the cold tap and the dishwasher supply.

But when I turn the tap on, water comes out of the sink cold tap but nothing to the dishwasher.

Any ideas?

Is the dishwasher inlet valve working? Does water actually come down the hose and not into the dishwasher or not down the hose at all?

Also if you are checking the dishwasher inlet valve bloody hell make sure its unplugged and disconnected.

does the plumbing run through a cupboard in behind the dishwasher, Hose could be kinked.

Maybe turn it off then back on again. If that fails, hit the side of it.

I'd then kick the dog if that fails to fix it.
