I've been reading Negreanu's poker blog of late, and its just ridicoulas what this guy does. He's basically either at charity events, promoting himself, or playing poker. This guy basically has the dream life, and its funny to imagine what it would have been like 5 or 6 years ago, when Poker hadn't boomed, he just would have been grinding away in Vegas, with little to no celebrity. Now, these guys are absoloutely all over the place and raking in tens of millions of dollars away from the poker table, I read last week Helmuth (it could be just his arrogance I dunno) said he could earn over $400m in the next 10 years, he even has his own line of Oakley sunglasses coming out.

I'd be interested to see Hachems if he was to do one, but I havent found it.

The sad thing is, it's probably true. Hellmuth rarely has to play poker at all these days - in fact, I think he only played his first tournament for the year this week (LA Poker classic), though I didn't come across his name in the updates.

This is a bit deceiving, however. Only the really big name players who actively promote themselves make the real big money, like Hellmuth and Negreanu. It's not like every player on the tour is a celebrity.
