Does anyone take notes of other players when playing online ?
Pokerstars allows you to do this so next time you bump into them, you have a picture of what they play like already.
Some of my terms are :
All-in idiot : a player who goes all in no matter the chip stacks, position etc. His only raise is all-in.
Minimum raiser : a person who always raises the minimum. Will usually get pushed off with a continuation bet after the flop.
Small blind caller : always calls the SB no matter the raise, Note this is not necassarily a bad thing if getting correct pot odds.
Triple blind raiser : every raise is x3 the BB no matter the cards.
Calls UTG : means player has little idea what he's doing.
Calls on the button : habitually calls on the button no matter the cards. Usually I like this move because he has position but it means if you are up against him there is no need to be as afraid as normal if he does raise.
Folds to a re-raise : if a player does this 2 or 3 times I make this note. Means this player needs very strong cards to play.
Folder preflop : don't play in hands where this guy enters the pot or raises pre flop as he must have strong cards.
Pot odds idiot : calls a bet if hoping for a flush/straight despite pot odds being against. These players can be taken advantage of.
Non folder : will not lay down big cards - KK, QQ, JJ, AK despite board clearly showing they're beaten.
Smart player : bets correctly, knows when to fold. A player to be wary of.
Blind stealer : must be stood up to if tries this move a few times.
Trash talker : tries to get under other players skins
