ANYONE out there in Tigerland have a decent clue on how Graham Polak is progressing at this point?
Is he playing a full game? Is he holding his own? Any snippets would be appreciated!
For mine, a full-on recovery from Polak seems the only plausible answer to a second big key forward.
Schulz has been a major disappointment but looks holding his spot forever anda day because Cleve Hughes is simply not the answer, Putt, Gourdis and Vickery are not ready and probably throwing Post in would be like lambs to the slaughter.
To me, the only obvious answer if we WANT TO WIN games is to send Richo back to the forward line, permanently!!!
Does anyone want to tell me that Richo is still holding back Schulz????????

Goldy, I heard on the weekend that Polak copped a big knock in the VFL on the weekend and he was pretty shaken up. Im not sure how he has pulled up from it but I know it's not the best thing that I wanted to hear.

I heard he got knocked out LGT, which made me nervous, but apparently he came back on later and was fine.

Yes I have no doubt he is working towards playing AFL again but.....

No I don't think he is a chance for a recall in the short term

I reckon Polly is doing incredibly well playing footy fullstop

I would love to see him play AFL again sometime but there is a massive gap between AFL & VFL... and I wouldn't want to see him under that much pressure just at the minute.

I'll be honest it was heart in the mouth stuff yesterday when he went down.

Still has serious balance issues. Ok for normal day to day life but not good in a sport where you must perform with super high coordination levels.

In contrast to Magtiger's outrageous call that Polak will play round 1, reality has Polak delisted at the end of the year. I reckon he would have been delisted at the end of last year if he didn't have another year to run on his contract.

Even if he wasn't recovering from a brain injury he'd still be struggling to make the 22. He is a dud.
