He was concussed again yesterday. I think it's just about time to give it away health is more important than just getting a game of footy imo.

I didn't hear about this, but if true then you're right. His health is much more important that putting himself in danger trying to a game for us. I didn't think he would survive past this year, but i think he will make the list management teams decision for them.

I just heard Dwayne Russell say he was knocked out for 5 minutes. I don't think he should take another head knock like that or he will be severely brain damaged. Just give it away mate.

correct, i just hope that player in his situation have the finances to support their families in life after footy.

Unless he has some serious gambling issues or totally irresponsible with money in some other way he should be set up.

He's been playing AFL footy for what - 10 years? at an average of 200k a year, which would be probably less than what he earnt, he should have grossed 2 million. Even after tax he should be pretty well off with a house and probably investments in other areas too.

I remember Clam Michael (Freo) lamenting that he had nothing after he did his knee and had to retire - and he'd been on some serious coin. Wasted it on stupid gifts for friends and extended family. I hope Polly didn't make the same mistake.

Ouch... Just seen it on CH7 news and he was out like a light. Lots of courage contributed, but they did show him just after sitting on the bench looking ok.

which is correct , as missed the news ,if it was shown in a clip it make's CC a great judge of things

cant continue to get knocked out every 3rd week, cant be good for him.

Difficult decision for both club and player. Richmond have supported him really well over the last year or two. Polly wouldn't want to give it away looking like he's not up to it. Hopefully it end's up a win/win for both Tiges and Polly at the end of the season.
