Look the guy's a legend and all but Im getting pretty sick of his bi-annual grab for cash, and threats that he's going to sell off all his medals because he's so broke (again)

What happened to the money you madde from the footy show appeal last year, or last years medal sell off ?? And the money you got from Main Roads for having the tunnel named after you and the subsequent appearances and tv adverts ????

Polly what are you doing with all your money ??????

He is obviously a bad businessman or a gambler, if it is the latter, maybe he could sue whoever he is losing the money to, like that guy in NSW.

Apparently, Sam Newman personally bailed him out a year or two back as well.

AFL players are a little more fortunate these days - they have business advisers and financial planners telling them how to invest their money and plan for the future. This is something the players from days gone by did not have, but I'm sure the alleged gambling problems also haven't helped in this case!

All that said, Polly was a legend on the footy field.
