That second Preliminary final has a lot of tradition in it, along with a great game to be had.

I live in Ballarat. I support the mighty hawks and also the coach unlike some of the hawthorn supporters around the place.

Still, they proved something this year. They looked like becoming the Fremantle of the VFL (or another Bendigo) but instead they've become a viable, potentially successful club.

I'd be interested to find out how much the league gains finantially from having them in it. (Both from ticket sales and extra exposure.) Perhaps splitting the club into three is a viable option if they can get the players.

Seeing Tassie have only been in the comp for three years I think they've done a marvellous job. They started from scratch three years ago, no identity, no name, no guernsey, no song, no home and no supporters. In a short time they've come a long way. I must admit I am impressed. And they will always be up against teams that have AFL listed players in their side. Yep, I am impressed and at least they win, which is a lot more than I can say for Carlton!

Oh come on, what did you expect? You really didn't expect them to have any respect for a Victorian side did you? Whether it's South Australia or Tassie there just aint no respect for Vics. And trust me I've found that out in the past 12 months.

Anyway, I don't know what was more fun, listening to the bagging David Bourke was getting from the crowd or sitting with the North Hobart supporters and listening to the relentless bagging they gave to Clarence and that bloody horrible Gavin Cooney! And Scarecrow will understand what I am talking about with that!

Brave? Are you serious? He stands at least 20 metres from anyone and waits for the ball to come to him. The few times he was under threat he got rid of the ball so fast he turned it over.
Honestly, on Sunday he was being laughed at. Most of those bagging him were Richmond supporters, but not all of them.
He was even the topic of discussion and mirth at work yesterday.
Anyway I am sure Francis loves his boy!

We are not very well liked. Our reputation is not one to be proud of. Apparently we are loud mouthed, think we know it all but know nothing, and Melbourne is just plain ugly! And that's the better things they say about us.
Anyway I am a Tasmanian now, so I'll just let you Vics deal with it!
