I recently upgraded my PS3's HDD to 500gb which left me with a spare 2.5" 60 gb drive. I bought an external case for it so it's now a 60gb portable hdd.
The drive works on the playstation
The drive works on my gf's mac
The drive works on my work PC
The drive works on a work laptop
The drive will not work on my home PC
I thought that maybe it wasn't getting enough power and so bought a powered USB hub, no joy.
What possible reason could there be for it not working on a single machine (the usb ports work fine for other devices)
