Yeo, finally starting to be used properly by Simmo.
NN looking more like his old self.
Lecras was dominant early and had a truckload of tackles.
I was too smart and decided not to take time off work to watch the game.
All the idiots talking about finals, can now stop.

Priddis is still playing
Masten, Shuey, Gaff and Selwood are all miles behind where the club needs them, and expects them to be.
Forward line looks absolutely shocking, mainly due to the midfield.
Cox needs to retire and yet keeps deciding to play.
Can't look any football media or anything relating to WCE for another whole week.
We play hawks in Tazzy next week and my housemate is a hawks supporter.... that's going to be awesome.

Feel for Lecras, in any other team he'd be slotting 4 goals a week or more, he was tackling like crazy tonight, why was a guy with a broken arm our best tackler?
WHAT THE **** is with the kicking? ... not AFL standard I'd have preferred to watch East Perth play they would have had more fight.
Kennedy started well, by that I mean 1 quarter, not good enough
Schoey did have some awesome swervability and looked to attack, everyone else was horrible

Our lack of top class midfielders was completely exposed again today. Gaff and Shuey may as well not have showed up, and Priddis was lucky to end with a couple of goals - they cancelled out the two he gave up in the first quarter.
Yeo, E-Mac, Hurn, and to a lesser extern Schofield, Lecca and Bennell can hold their heads high - but very ordinary stuff.
It was an indictment on us to see so many runs through the middle from Norf with two or three streaming together.

Positive- I can stop hoping we make the finals. Its over.
Also positive, we determined after an extensive 132 kick trial that going long to outnumbered players might not be a good strategy.

Is that the worst game of football ever played at AFL level?
Is that the worst ever Eagles performance?
If they weren't the worst, they are certainly in the top five for both those questions.
That was so bad as to defy belief. And North shouldn't be walking away to smug either because if they played half decently would've won by nearly 100.
After watching what I honestly thought was one of the best home and away games of footy i've seen against the magpies last week, to come out and dish up what was barely Sydney AFL standard was beyond disgusting. **** know's how many out on the full's there were in the first half but it must have been pushing an AFL record.
You can see NicNat's fitness really start to push on which is great, and really the only positive in that game for mine. A few others put in, but overall everything else was just terrible. I text my mate and said the kicking skills of the eagles are about as good as under 16's, and North not much better perhaps at under 18 level. I think that's about right.

Naitanui looked fit and played his heart out. He can't be blamed for what happened out there.
Mark LeCras looked good, but needs to fix his set shots. He's struggled in the past two seasons.
Hurn was good once again.

Shep must have had about 5 to himself and Priddis at least 3.
I actually thought Mastens kicking was fine, he kicked better than Shuey (barring the left foot pass in the 1st) who is meant to be a good kicker in space. Looks like the type of guy who believes his own hype. Need someone to lead properly on the training track and on the field, someone to set an example, there's literally nobody amongst the midfielders who can do this.

No structure number of players just kicking ball out to anyone not hitting our targets and turning it over
number of ruck taps straight to north players
probably worst game I've seen this year on par w geelong game
not playing enough as a team calling for ball, letting players know there being chased
not converting crucial goals
missing our place in top 8 n now cud potentially not make it
Played like a different team from last week
hawthorn next week and playing like that makes me nervous....
