Okay... I just found out this workmate of mine leaves in 3 WEEKS for her trip. I mentioned to her that I can 'text message her scores if she likes' when she is on that boat.

She aint getting nothing tho, if she doesnt hand over her AFL membership!!

How do I, in a subtle way, remind her of her offer to me of using her AFL membership to get a GF ticket should Geelong make it???

Is she a member of Big Footy?? I'm thinking it won't be a problem if she's read this thread! Otherwise, I'd offer her money.... lot's and lot's of money...

Nah she's not a member of BF.

Maybe something like Me: "Hey, did you find anyone to take one of you AFL memberships before you go away?" And then she says "No, I've been too busy packing! How about you take it?" And i go "Who me?!?! Thank you!!!"

...And then Geelong make the GF, you end up sitting next to Gary Snr. You both watch Geelong win by 3 goals, Gary Jnr take the Norm Smith Medal and you and Gary Snr hug... It could happen!!

I hear your pain being in Sydney - I am in Adelaide and have been an Interstate member for many years and recently joined my new grandson as a Kitty member. I was so upset when I got the finals paperwork through to find I dont qualify to put my name forward for a ticket. Do they feel that us interstate members are not as important as the ones that live in Victoria. I am quite upset about it. I will get a ticket somehow but disappointed in the club.
