Possible drafts from outside the system

With everyone talking about how shallow the draft is this year, who are the players that are a genuine chance to be drafted that are from outside the system?There has to be players in the Country,Metro or Ammos that are a chance.

It's very rare now that anyone outside the system is picked up.

Even if they are from metro i.e Andrew Lovett, they'll still go via a rookie list.

I think only James Gwilt and perhaps one other got picked up last year (Gwilt has been playing 2nds at Springvale)

what about Rhys Archard from Echuca. I hear clubs approach him to do a pre season although he is not interested. Any truth in this
