I agree. Snowy off the tram could have coached the flag in 1980 we were so dominant. Northey had us playing passionate, desperate and inspired footy. Remember the roar when Naishy drilled that goal form 50?

All the guy wanted was an extended contract (of which he thoroughly deserved) after a successful finals campaign in 95. Another Chapter of the rise and fall of the RFC!!!

I just can't believe there has been no outcry in regard to Wallace's creed that success will come in 2011...that is 4 years away!.

If a CEO stated, hey we are going to restructure and everything will be right in 4 years..oh and by the way we will incur massive profit losses (eg 157 points) embarrassment, humilation, dwindling shareholders - he would be lynched.

The only way a CEO would put this up is to save his bacon/job for 4 years. if they sack him he can say.."oh thats unfair as I'm only 2 years into a 4 year plan..."

It is all smoke and mirrors - if guys playing today cannot stand up and give the Tiges wins/success after 20-30 games its a joke.

In 4 years time, the guys he is talking about would have played 80-100 games, wow thats great - come on Terry, get real.

We have nobody in the crucial 22-27 age bracket who can stand up. After these kids get the 80-100 games you say, they will be in this age bracket. Therefore it IS going to take that long for the club to start showing the rewards.
I completely disagree with your opinion on this, but at least you vented it in a constructive manner, which is more than I can say for 95% of the trolls on here.
Kids show bugger all with 20-30 games under their belt. it's the ones with the 80 games that deserved to be judged.

He certainly turned our club around. Was a hard bastard but galvanised the playing group. Tough negotiator too when it came to his contract, that's why lost him to you guys. Our board wouldn't agree to his terms, so we end up losing our best coach since '64.
