Fellow flogs, it's not easy to consign the reigning premiers to missing the finals and start their downward spiral to more decades in the wilderness, no matter if they are just a shittruck club who is over-reliant on 1 player who will probably never lace up the boots again and led by a philandering, immoral campaigner of a coach
It takes a joint effort and a season of hard work with an unerring focus on achieving the goal no matter what effect that may have on other less important goals, like the winning the flag or avoiding the wooden spoon, and so on. And much like every footy win is a product of all the individual goals kicked, with the first being as important as the last, every Niinthmond loss (or draw!) was another nail in their long-overdue pauper's coffin destined for a shallow, unamarked grave
So let's give ourselves a pat on the back (just a gentle one, the kind that would send Alex pRance flying) and take a moment to bask in the glory of what we have collectively achieved and the service we have done for the other, lesser clubs who didn't have the gumption to be a part of our vision for a Tuggerless finals future
Naturally I am particularly pleased with our round 17 effort, their 4th loss in a row, especially since we came back from the dead with a killer final quarter to show these pea-hearted pillocks how to football
Let's all join hands and sing Kumbyah, and shake our heads in silent disapproval at the other teams
