I had some new posts added to be retaining wall today and I paid someone a bomb to do it.

Best/safe use is a 2 person operation with 1 in control



$90 for this and a bit of work but good for softer soils

Its about your soil and laziness I guess. If you have a rocky structure then motorised, if you have sandy loam, clay loam etc then the hand one might do

I had to do all my holes with a crowbar and a shovel
Ive got lots of rocks,I dont even think a post hole digger would work unless it was attached to big machine
