The SFA is a game, a game with a proud 20 year history on Bigfooty with members from across the whole site coming here to enjoy the unique game of Qooty and some banter. Everyone is welcome to come here and enjoy the Sweet F.A board, no one is welcome to come here and flout rules, make others feel uncomfortable due to sexuality, race or sex, or act in a fashion that puts others off posting and playing here.

Terms and rules

You must agree to these terms and rules before using the site.

You agree to not use the Service to submit or link to any Content which:

• is dangerous to health, anti-vax, Covid denial etc,
• is hateful, including sympathetic discussion of far-right/neo-Nazi tropes,
• misinformation or disinformation,
• defamatory,
• threatening,
• abusive,
• bigotry,
• likely to offend,
• is spam or spam-like,
• contains adult or objectionable content,
• risks copyright infringement,
• encourages unlawful activity (including illegal drug use, buying, selling etc), including pictures of drug use and drug paraphernalia
• or otherwise violates any laws,
• or contains personal information of others
• Do NOT throw sexualised, derogatory, homophobic or gender based/misogynistic insults at users, this is unacceptable and will be dealt with harshly.

1. Simmer Abuse.

Simmer abuse will consist of any harassment, abuse, baseless accusations of cheating/rigging/manipulation of the game towards the volunteers who run the Qooty application to simulate the games, explicit or implied.

Examples of what is no longer allowed include:

• "[simmer x] is a cheat."
• "Eat a bag of dicks simmers."
• "This s**t [the game] is rigged."
• "Corrupt simmers screwing us over again."
• "How many times did [simmer x] resim to get that result?"

Banter bemoaning the SIM application itself will not constitute simmer abuse. In layman's terms, you can still complain about the sim results as much as you like, but as soon as you bring the simmers into it then you've crossed a line.

Examples of what is still allowed include:

• "The Sim really hates us this season."
• "The Sim is such a campaigner."
• "[Club x] is seriously being kissed on the dick by the Sim this season."
• "Qooty Gods have cursed me."

Hopefully the standard is as clear as possible with little grey area.

A full version of this statement by League Administrator Kennedy Parker has been posted in the commmittee and all Captains tagged, please ask your Captain to copy and paste it into team pm’s so that everyone knows where the League stands on simmer/volunteer abuse.

• Don't be a cyberstalker: Respect other people. Lifting users social media content and posting it in threads, following people around from board to board to hassle them, contacting, mentioning, and @'ing them when they have made it clear they do not wish to engage with you, it's all just weird. Don't do that.

TL;DR: Material that is reported as infringing a third party's copyright will continue to be removed. Repeat infringements will continue to see members have their access limited or permanently removed. Members should check their posts for content they believe or know to infringe the ownership rights of others. People who believe their rights have been infringed should report the content with the Report Post button, or via the site contact form.

Banned Users:

Anyone on the SFA who has knowledge of a banned poster using an alias to come back here will be expected to let admins and/or mods know, you can do so privately in PM or by just using the report button. These matters are not for public discussion or ‘banter’ on the board. This is a site wide issue and not exclusive to the SFA.
We can then do our due diligence and check as best we can, it’s not easy these days with VPNs and changing IPs and emails to know who is sneaking back on.

People are not banned for frivolous reasons, there can be very serious reasons people are removed from this site and those reasons are generally only known by the people who need to know, we are bound by privacy and take it very seriously.
Also, usually the gossip and chatter spread in PMs is completely wrong, do not rely on it. Just because someone says something on the internet does not make it true, I know right!

The safety and enjoyment of our users is paramount, we have a duty of care that must be adhered to. All of us.
