1. Curnow

BNB - Pittonet

5. Jack Martin -- the best player acquisition this club has gotten beyond the draft since Diesel.

4. Marc Pittonet -- Tim English is going to be a quality AFL ruck, Marc is a quality AFL ruck.

3. Eddie Betts -- 10 of 23 scores involved Eddie. 'Nuff said.

2. Ed Curnow -- Old reliable's best game of the year

1. Matt Kennedy -- He is a footballer and in my opinion an important part of the best 22 nucleus going forward. The selectors may disagree but he's a positive as a player and a positive with the intangibles. He loves his teammates and they love him.

Honorable mention to the whole team. However, special mention to Sam Petrevski-Seton. I've been critical but he had by his best game of the season. He looked poised and under control both offensively and defensively. Bloody brilliant Samo. Keep it going.

Wait ... you can't do that? Can he do that? That might help me out of my dilemma. So many players I want to give votes to.

I'm really struggling between those that did the work in the middle and those that put the ball through the sticks. I have about 8 players who could take my 5 points, so 3 will miss out altogether.

5. Ed Curnow - 19 disposals, 1 goal, 12 contested possessions, 5 tackles, 7 clearances and did a great job on the Bont
4. Jack Martin - He's the catalyst for so much that happens for this team in the midfield and up forward. 2 goals, 2 goal assists, 3 contested marks, 11 contested possessions and 5 tackles
3. Sam Walsh - 22 disposals, 10 contested possessions but a power of work to cover for the team, as evidenced by his running between the arcs with 3 rebound 50s and 4 inside 50s. Got some unnoticed balls away quickly to release teammates in tight defensive situations and for a lovely goal assist for Gov.
2. Sam Petrevski-Seton - 19 disposals, 6 rebound 50s and some real leadership and direction from Samo. Best game for him this year and he looked confident.
1. Mitch McGovern - He doesn't get the credit he deserves sometimes. 2 brilliant goals and 2 goal assists. That pass to H for our first goal was brilliant and it is something that Mitch does often, without getting plaudits for. 7 marks showed how hard he was working. Only went for MM ahead of McKay because he got more of the ball, and maybe to give him some credit that he deserves for once.

BNB: Marc Pittonet.
