Someone must have stopped pedalling up there, eh Suz?
We didn't have any storms or anything like that.

Maybe P&P.

I love power black outs, except for the whole no power thing.
Yeah me too. But this one came as a surprise because I was on the computer last night when it happened. I also had the TV on so that I could catch the footy action.

It's all fun and games until it causes your alarm not to go off and you wake up at 7:15am - 15mins after your shift at work starts! :(

I used to live in a place that was in the corner where four power grids met, which for some reason meant that the power would go off randomly every week or so.

Is it true that there's a causal relationship between blackouts and baby booms?

About 18 months ago in the USA there was a huge blackout for a day or two.Nine months later a lot more kids were popping out than usual.

I believe so. If they see each other at a nightclub or something they will usually hook up, but it's no-strings-attached arrangement, and they are free to see others.

Oh, causal...

We had a big blackout here in Adelaide this afternoon for around 75 minutes. My uncle works on the Computer Network at the RAH in the City and he always rings us to see if it's a widespread blackout because we're in the outer suburbs. First time he's ever rang and we had it down here as well. Must have been a large area of the city affected.

Yeah, the blackout stretched from Murray Bridge to Grange, apparently, Ray.

I've had a **** day. Had to work in pitch darkness and when I get to the car park, my car is nowhere to be found.

The power station near my school caught on fire this afternoon - I think that's what caused the power failure in Adelaide. Oh well, I got out of History! :D

I hate blackouts. I'm totally dependant on electricity - I get incredibly bored if I can't use anything electrical.
Fortunately they don't happen too often (although early December every year when Christmas lights proliferate tends to cause a few short blackouts); but a couple of years ago after a wild storm we were blacked out for 2 days, I couldn't stand it.
