Can walshy or anyone else who went to the game please give a preview, as the Bombers site doesn't usually give much info regarding all the players, seems to focus only on the top couple of players.

All I know is that we lost again.

But we actually had a half time lead. Hey, that's a start, right?

to start off with, i'm not here to bag the dons, so please don't all gang up on me.
i just thaught you may like to know what happend during the match...
well, it was a pretty close game most of the way... we got a goal, then you got a goal, then us, then you, and so on, and when you were infront we kept close, and when we were in fron, you kept close. actually, you played ok for the first 3/4.
then, we kinda jumped ahead, and won.
but well done any ways, good game.

we kicked 8 goals in the 2nd quarter did we not ???? Thats almost like "normal" essendon, we just have to work on the other qtrs now.

But we'll be fine and kicking arse again soon. I hear scotty lucas played a good game also, which is excellent news.

well, we were very undermaned
M.Johnson, Mercuri, Hird, Solomon, Rama, Long, Lloyd, Wallis, Misiti, Heffernan were all missing

J.Johnson only came on the ground during the last quarter

Ted Richards took Brad Green and was very good, apart from a spell of 15 mins where green kicked 3 goals
Henneman played a good game on neitz
mark mcveigh tagged woewodin and was sensational, woe only getting about 12 disposals for the day
Alessio was good in the ruck and up forward, snagging three goals
fletcher played most of the game at full forward and also kicked 3
McAlister was very good, seems to have taken the next step, probably the best ive seen him play
Blumfield looks in top form as does caracella, both of them did top jobs

so against a full strength melb side other than schwartz it was a fair effort
