I admit it, I thought McIntosh may have been past it. Although in some games (such as v Essedon at Colonial) it doesn't matter how well you play, if a guy is getting it on a plate, he WILL mark the ball, but in general, I thought he wasn't spoiling as well on the lead, partly because he also seemed a yard slower.

But he slaughtered Graham, and then Kingsley (for the last 10 min). The only thing I can think of, asides a terrible lack of judgement on my part, is that he has had an injury/operation free pre-season, am I right in saying that?

same with Braun. The guy has some of the worse knees in league football, from what I've heard, both of them are degenerative. But his touch with the ball has been promising the last few games, I would have liked to have seen more of him v Geelong rather than warming the pine, but I suppose we should look at the bigger picture.

As for everyone else ... well roll on the season proper... anyone know who we play for the next two weeks??

I too cant say enough about Milli...everyone says he was finished or should go forward to prolong his career a year or two but he absolutely killed Graham. Graham is a huge talent and McIntosh just took him completely out of the game.

I think your right with his uninterrupted pre season. Same with Wirrpunda, it can do a lot for a players fitness and confidence. Lets hope for a big year from Milli.

Never underestimate a player like McIntosh - a champion such as him cant be written off. His game against Graham was awesome and he showed why he's still one of the most feared FB's in the league

It's all going well for McIntosh now but I cant see him being fully fit for the whole season te way his body has been, then again I said the same about Roo Matera and he prolonged his career with a revised training scheme which saw a dramatic reduction in injuries.

Its odd like that- sometimes you'll get players who go down again and again with niggling injuries, and then something seems to click and they just go fine. Given the appalling luck we've had lately, it'd be nice to think we're due for a decent run of uninjured weeks
