But, HEY, I am the nimwit and you are the smart, lovable positive St Kilda supporter, aye?
First of all modra and helen get a room.!
Saints will finish top 8 next year without a doubt. With all the reitrees they will have a stronger younger side freseher legs and i can see them making top 4.! You talk about the sides that are also going to improve but you didnt mention sides that will slide :
In my opinion, eagles, kangas, adelaide, sydney and maybe a few more, stkilda supporters you have nothing to worry about you will make a good challenge next year
Bourky23, you are one of the very few on this site and SAINTSATIONAL who are able to look at St.kilda without ROSE-COLOURED-GLASSES. I think your prediction above is spot on. You are absolutely correct regarding the Lions, Dogs and Dockers. I expect at least 2 of them to finish higher than us for sure. You also have got Richmond and Carlton who will improve. The 3 teams that will be on the slide are Sydney, Adelaide and St.kilda. This is why I am predicting St.kilda will finish anywhere between 10th and 14th. Of course nearly all the posters are saying top 8 and a lot are saying top 4. Don't get me wrong, I hope they are correct, but unfortunately I don't think so.....and neither do you.

The Dogs have no talls and with the retirement of Darcy, Grant, Robbins and Montgomery they will struggle big time. Minson, Harris, Street and Wight are basically it as far as big men go - not enough to make a side. Johnson and West are well aged and too heavily relied on. I think they are a highly over-rated team. Will not be a threat.
Am I reading correctly? death to you... unless you are referring to the fact he physically shouldn't compared to normal humans but is an abnormal freak...

as much as it pains me to say it... axcellence's post is the most accurate so far guys.. sure optimism is great and i hope we go well but guys we were rubbish last year and i'm not sure the turnaround will be as dramatic as we are all hoping.. to those people suggesting we'll finish top 4.... dream on!! we'll be lucky to make the 8
