Dear fellow Essendon supporters,

It has been made public that some of us have had the gall to queue up for grand final tickets before we had actually won the preliminary final. This heinous crime has shocked and angered the rest of the football community, most of whom have little idea of the logistics of obtaining grand final tickets. The punishment for this act of sheer contempt is to have you labelled BOTH "arrogant" AND "cocky", and possibly the less popular "obnoxious", for the rest of your lives. You will also serve a life sentence in prison, without a trial or any possibility of parole. Any mention of Essendon being in the finals next year will receive the same punishment.

Opposition supporters will follow your lead of queuing early when their teams are in a preliminary final in the future. When they do so, they are completely exempt of any guilt and will not expect any of the ridicule or hostility that Essendon supporters are currently experiencing.

You must remember that Essendon supporters are not permitted to show common sense or plan ahead. We are expected to wait until the last minute to get a grand final ticket, and then fail to purchase one due to lack of supply.

Please comply to this in future.

We can't fart without being accused of thinking we're superior to every living thing in the history of the Earth. (let alone plan ahead for GF tickets....)

If we win a game, it's because of the umpiring.

If we lose a game, it's because we're just crap and overrated.

Look at everybody's posts regarding Hawthorn's effort on Sat - all praising them for a great game. Which is fine. No mention of Essendon's heart though, being able to hold on. Of course not!

If we win this week, what will be their excuse?

Umps?

Salary cap cheating?

Steroids?

Corrupt tribunal?

Home state advantage?

The wind?


God forbid some of us might plan ahead to get a Grand Final ticket!

Look at Michele, the sad, sad individual. Claims that the umpires have favoured Essendon all year, yet when i point out the fact that Hawthorn had 23 frees to Essendons 15, she can't accept it!
Apparently i'm "making it up"!!!!!! lmao

And she's just one example of the many sad people on this board who have nothing better to do than put down one of the greatest football sides ever. (which i truly believe. Whether we win or lose this weekend, i'll still believe it. Football has come so far in the past 3 years. Thanks to the Essendon FC.)


People are so one-eyed that it robs their brain of all common sense. I enjoy watching a good football team, whether it be Essendon, Brisbane, Carlton, Collingwood, or whoever.

I'll enjoy watching next year when Brisbane steamroll every team they play. I'll be barracking for Essendon, but as long as we put up a fight, and give them a good game, (or 2, or 3) i'll be happy.

Same goes for this week. I don't care if we lose. I'm certainly not going to make up excuses for it. I'll be happy to watch Brisbane win. Just not as happy as i'll be should we pull it off.

My point, is that people should just enjoy watching good football, and Essendon have certainly provided football followers with plenty of that the past few years. One must have a sad existance if all they care about after watching an awesome game like the one on Saturday, is to make excuses as to why the team that won should have lost.

Very sad.

And the funniest thing thing is - when Brisbane go through next year without losing a game, they'll all hate Brisbane just as much as they hate us now.

Fickle indeed.

Brisbane may crush every team next year like we did last year and then they will soon find out what it is like putting up with morons like michelle week in week out. I hope we win this week, not so much I hate brisbane, but everyone is writing us off.

Exactly!!! If wer are arrogant...at least we have somthing to be arrogant about! The Lions have achieved NOTHING!!! He is the one acting like an arrogant prick when he and his team have ziltch to be arrogant about!!

I hate Brisbane more than ever. An Essendon victory will p!ss off a whole lot of people!! lol. I'd love that!
