I just thought I would check and see if anyone knew before I called the club.

I have a Premier Membership and when I signed up it said that I got access to the waiting list for Silver Membership included.

Does anyone know if I have to notify the club that I want to be entered onto the waiting list or they just do it automatically?

They just do it automatically. Sometime in the off season (maybe January) you should receive a premier renewal letter from the club and they will either say you can get a membership or you are ‘number XXX’ on the waiting list.

I think it depends how you sign up, when I did it was through the online store and there was no box to tick if you wanted to join the list. I sent an email to membership@afc.com.au and they made sure I was on the list, I got a letter confirming this with my number not long after. This was during the pre-season.

People on the waiting list got a letter a week or two back saying that because of lower member numbers this year a 3 game package was available for August. Not sure if this is a regular thing...
