You guys continually go on about how great your teams are, but have any of them broken an NBL record this season?

I don't think so

The Titans 13 straight victories is a pretty good performance, and Perth's last to second climb is also pretty good, but it cannot compare with the remarkable run by one of the League's Oldest and Proudest clubs, the mighty CANBERRA CANNONS.

With the weekend loss to Caisrns we created NBL history with our 28th consecutive road defeat.

PRIDE. Nothing but PRIDE.

Unfortunately we will be unable to extend this remarkable run as we defeated Brisbane, with former Perth throw-away, Gosa, scoring 39 points. I'd like to know why Perth didn't keep him.

Well done to the Cannons, it's a record of futility and inepitude unmatched in NBL history, sensational effort.

As for Gosa, Perth brought him in, his girlfriend was killed in the States and not surprisingly he didn't perform well in limited time in a couple of games....now he looks like a very accomplished import...though I don't think Perth will be too worried ;)

Well what more can be said.....the Cannons are just pure class. :D Dont know what happened with Gosa, didnt play like that when he was with us, although he only played with us for like 2 games. Were not worried though. Feaster is going very well and Ricky is the MVP this season. Another championship beckons for the Mighty Wildcats!!

I don't think our remarkable feat had anything to do with ineptitude, I think it had more to do with the BA147 planes the Cannons travel in when flying out of Canberra, and the engine fumes that continually seep into the passenger's area. By the time they reach Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane, they are feeling as sick as a dog.

Well, that's the excuse we are using anyway.:D :D

Well, you didn't have any travelling to do tonight Devo, and it showed, if the final result is anything to go by....a 27 point win to the Cannons, well done mate!! :)

I think if we can keep this team, we can actually do some damage next season. The big problem the Cannons have had over the last decade, has been their inability to keep players for more than one season. Every year they rebuild from scratch.
