Will carlton still get a priority pick if we end up with 5 and half wins 22pts. I hope so because we need these picks.

lets hope so.. guys who know please let us know

20 points or under gets you a priority pick. 5 wins or less.

5 wins and a draw is 22 points so we DO NOT qualify if we win 2 more games.

The draw has come back to bite us on the backside.

The Draw was as bad as a win (in pp terms). Another draw would cancel it out though....

Don't worry. The CFC will tread these final weeks with caution.
We will get that priority pick!

we havent worked all year to start winning games now...if we win 2 more games ill be shattered

Are you serious! The players aren't going to worry about Priority Picks, they're going to go out and try to win. If you've played footy before you'd know that once you get on the field you do all you can to win, regardless of the consequences

So true but surely the selection committee realises that winning a few pointless games at the end of a very disappointing year wont help the club at all.

I guess what I'm saying is that you might experiment a little and try some guys that haven't been given an extended go and maybe experiment with players in different positions.

It's a tough one!

You've never heard of match fixing?

Besides, it isn't up to the players. Ian Collins and Dennis Pagan both know we need the priority pick. I reckon even a few of the senior players will know that too...

we need some of that flu virus that swept the geelong club rooms a few weeks ago to brease into Princes Park
